Car polishing in Belgrade

We remove scratches, swirl marks, dullness and oxidation you can see with the naked eye. Before we start, we measure paint thickness on the whole car.

What polishing removes

  • Swirl marks from car washes and brushes — fine circular scratches you see in the sun
  • Dullness and oxidation: the paint shines again and the colour looks deeper
  • Shallow scratches that haven’t gone through the clear coat

Two-step polishing removes up to 80–90% of defects, one-step up to 50–60%. A scratch down to the primer won’t polish out, and we don’t fully cut out a deep one in the clear coat — it would take too much paint. We’ll tell you about these before we start.

How we protect the paint

  • Before every polish we measure paint thickness across the whole car.
  • Thin factory clear coat is polished with a soft pad only.
  • We try not to use a rotary polisher — it’s safer for the paint.
  • Washing, polishing and leather work happen in separate bays, so dust and water stay where they belong.
  • If we get it wrong, we fix it at our own cost. If we find hidden damage someone else left, we send you a photo and message you straight away.

One step, two steps or selected panels

One-step polish

Removes light swirls and dullness and brings back the gloss. For a car in good condition.

Two-step polish

First a cutting compound removes the defects, then a finishing polish brings up the gloss. For a car with visible swirls and scratches.

Partial polish (selected panels)

Only the panels that need it: bumper, bonnet, door, wing. The technician quotes the price after an inspection.

How long it takes

Polishing takes from one day, a difficult case 2–3 days. If we apply a ceramic coating afterwards, the car stays another 12–24 hours, ideally a full 24, for it to cure. We’ll give the exact time at the inspection.

After polishing — protection

After polishing, the paint needs a ceramic coating or wax — protection is a separate service. We almost never polish without it: bare paint dulls quickly, and the first careless wash leaves swirls from rags and sponges. Ceramic on paint lasts differently: Gyeon — 6–8 months (the 2-year Gyeon — in practice a year to a year and a half), CarPro — 8–12 months, Meguiar’s — up to 3–5 years; a lot depends on care.
